BONE DRY Revisions

Posted by Jen on Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 @ 10:44 am

This week I started on the revisions for BONE DRY. I was able to make it two weeks between typing “The End’ on the first draft and starting on the revisions. I’m just so excited to get going on this, I couldn’t wait any longer!

Things are going well so far. Mostly smalls tweaks, a little more here, a little less here. I’ve sent the first few chapters to a couple of early readers. So far I’ve gotten positive feedback. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

What are you working on?

That’s awesome. I love the editing part, it’s so much easier than the original writing! LOL.

I’ve shelved my first book for now, since no agents bit on it, working on the second and am so much more structured this time around. Maybe this one will have a chance! Good luck with the edits.

I’m working on a new thing that doesn’t really have a title, but is living on my hard drive as DJ. At 20K words, I hit a snag, though, so I’ve got to figure out whether I’m going to fix it or forge ahead. Right now, forging ahead is the front runner.

Have fun with the edits. =o)
