Friday Five

1. It’s a beautiful day today! Spring!

2. Last night, I went to see Ben Folds in concert. It was great! His opener was a band called Jukebox the Ghost. Check them out. Loved this song.

3. Last week’s Dollhouse was the first episode script Joss Whedon wrote for the show, and I had been anticipating this for weeks. I thought the show was interesting so far, but it was still missing something. And it seems it was missing Joss because I thought last week’s show was fantastic. You could especially tell in the dialogue that he’d been much more involved in this episode. Can’t wait to see what happens tonight.

4. There’s an April Teen Author Reading Night next Wednesday at the NYPL. It seems like it’s an extension of the NYC Teen Author Festival. Here’s the facebook event page. If you live in the area, you might want to check it out.

5. This weekend, my plans are full of writing and judging writing contest entries. I’m really exciting, I know! But it’s supposed to be stormy here all weekend so it’ll be a nice time to stay in and get some work done.
