Friday Five

1. Revision for CLASH are coming along pretty well. There’s a whole chunk of chapters that I revised as I went along during the first draft, and they really don’t need a lot of work. Not looking forward to the end chapters though. I didn’t revise them at all as I wrote.

2. I expect to be starting revisions for TG on Monday after a phone call to go over them with my agent. So, CLASH will be put on the back burner at that time. I’m looking forward to getting back into that world. I haven’t touched it in months.

3. I’m still sick and missing out on a ski trip this weekend. I’m pretty bummed about it, and this cough just doesn’t want to go away. More OJ, please.

4. I’m in the middle of reading ZOE’S TALE by John Scalzi. I’m loving it!

5. I’m itching to start playing WOW or Starcraft again. I need to resist this urge because if I do, hours of my life will magically disappear.

I did NOT know you were a fellow Starcraft fan. I never played it online, but I ate up the campaigns on that and Broodwar.

WOW looks fun, but I’m scared of being sucked into that world. As it is, my son wants to do nothing else. ;)

I;ve never played any of those role playing games for exactly Rinda’s reason - and yours - I’m afraid I’d really like them and POOF my life was gone.

Rinda - I lurve Starcraft. Might be my favorite game ever. And I’ve played online. Fun stuff.

JKB - Yes, they do suck you in. They are lots of fun, but so addictive.

Jill - I don’t play it anymore! I’m scared of getting sucked in. I started playing it a couple of months ago again on someone else’s machine. And now I have the game sitting next to my computer waiting for an install. But I’m scared. I’ll get addicted again, I just know it.

WOW can be terribly addictive - been there, done that. Currently though I have managed to get it under control and severely limit it. It’d be easy to loose control though without some self-control.

It is very evil! I haven’t played much lately, though. I got the expansion pack on the first day it was out, and I’m only at 72. I’m such a n00b.
