The holidays are officially over, and with that has come some great posts and news on some blogs I read, so I thought I’d share those here.

1. Erica Ridley just got her first sale! I’ve been reading her blog and Manuscript Mavens for over a year now, and I’m so happy about her news. Congrats Erica!

2. Cindy Pon is giving away an ARC of her upcoming debut novel, SILVER PHOENIX. Enter at her blog to win a copy.

3. Jill Wheeler has written a great post listing many success stories of writers getting agents and book deals. She was nice enough to include my getting-an-agent posts in her list!

4. My friend, Gretchen McNeil (who recently snagged an excellent agent), has just started a blog. Welcome to blogland.

Hope everyone has had a great start to 2009! I’ve had a good year so far except for the pesky cold that everyone seems to have right now. Before it hit me, I managed to have a great New Years Eve at a live cover band show and a fun weekend complete with a day ski trip where I only managed to fall a couple of times. So, now I’m going to dive back into the second draft of CLASH and look forward to what the rest of January might bring.
