M.I.A.

I feel a little out of the loop in the blogosphere lately. I’m used to scanning my daily blogs, updating my own at least every other day, updating Twitter and checking out the writing forums. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case recently. My grandmother passed away early last week, and I needed to take some time off from everything and to be with my family. She was someone who meant a lot to me, and I admired her very much. I always wanted to be like her when I grew up. I wish I’d told her just what an inspiration she’s always been to me.

That time off really helped.

So, now I’m back and I have lots of posts planned for the blog. Some book reviews, writing and industry posts and updates on my own writing. So…check back. This place will get a little more interesting starting tonight. :)

I’m sorry to hear about your grandmother. I lost my oldest surviving grandparent (paternal grandmother) when I was seventeen. It’s a difficult loss.

Oh, Jen. I’m so sorry to hear about your loss.

I’m sure your grandmother knew how she inspired you, even if you never told her. Our loved ones always know.

I’m so sorry to hear about your grandmother. Mine died about ten years ago, and I still think of her often and strive to be like her.

I’m glad you had the time to take off, and that you had some good family time. Welcome back to the blogosphere!

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate it.

Sorry to hear that, Jen.

*hugs*

I offer you my condolences on the loss of your grandmother. Take comfort in the memories that you share and know that each day smile through your tears when you think of her. Peace
