Janet Evanovich - Motor Mouth Review

motormouth.jpg Let me start off by saying that I’m a huge Janet Evanovich fan. I absolutely love her writing style, her stories and her characters. One of the things I love most about her is when I’m sitting on the train, and something she says makes me giggle out loud. So, this was a highly anticipated novel for me when I finally picked this up a few months ago.

In Motor Mouth, Barney and Hooker get themselves into trouble by sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong. They borrow (temporarily steal) the hauler of another race car driver to investigate whether or not he’s cheating. Turns out the driver is more than cheating. He’s carrying a dead body around. Because of this, they have both the bad guys and the good guys after them.

My thoughts? Hilarious, once again. Evanovich creates characters in such a way that you feel like they’re your friends. Both wacky and likable. I found myself laughing out loud or with a smirk on my face many times throughout this book. She may create hilarious situations, but she can also draw you into the suspense and keep you turning page after page after page.
