If you’ve been reading the blog from the beginning, you might notice that I’ve completely revamped the site. Plus, I’ve moved the blog from LiveJournal to WordPress so that I can host it myself.
That said, I didn’t do any writing yesterday at all. Oops. Luckily, I had gotten a little ahead of schedule so I ended up not being too far behind from skipping a day. So, I worked hard on the novel today and got over the 10,000 words mark!
This next week is an important one for me. The furthest I’ve ever gotten in writing a novel was 16,000 words. It will feel like a big accomplishment for me to pass that mark, and that should be happening sometime within the next week. At least, I hope!
Inspiration and ideas can come from anywhere. I’ve had a lot of help today from friends with ideas for names and scene starting sentences. If this novel gets completed and manages to get published, there will be a long list of names on the dedication page.
