June 11 - Word Count 8,807
So, I did not get up and create character outlines. I chose the one hour snooze button routine instead. Sometimes I feel have no control over what I do when I am 50% in dreamland. Most of the time I don’t realize that I have hit the snooze button ten times in a row until I have less than an hour to get ready for work. There have also been the times where I have somehow managed to turn the alarm completely off in my sleep, rendering it impossible for me to get anywhere on time.
But, I digress.
Back to business. I am now up to 8,807 words, and I have once again reached my 1,000 word quota of the day! I was surprised when I met it because I was feeling some writer’s block for most of the day. Instead of barely typing three sentences, I managed to get out a few of my most well-written paragraphs yet. In my opinion at least.
Now really, tomorrow I am going to do some character development for some of my supporting characters. But, not until tomorrow night. I’m not even going to fool myself and pretend like I’m going to get up early.
