First Morning
Well, I had great plans to get up early and get out those first thousand words, but I was lazy and hit the snooze button a million times. I ended up having about 40 minutes for writing since I have to get ready for work now. I only have 312 words written, but it took awhile to get started. Since I had/have no characters or plot mapped out, I had no idea how I wanted to begin the novel. I think I have a good opening though, and I’m pretty happy with it. With the beginning, I’m going to try to come up with some ideas about my character and what I want to happen with the story plot-wise. Tonight after work, I think I can easily hit the 1,000 word mark. Although, I am behind since I didn’t write any yesterday, so I might want to try and catch up if possible.
